Orally feeding a child with chronic illness may lead to excessive amounts of time each day spent on feeding, severely impairing parent and caregiver QoL.1
A retrospective chart review saw improved feeding tolerance in 92% of patients within one week of switching to a peptide-based feed (Peptamen Junior 1.5) in 13 children with developmental delay who failed to reach their nutritional goals using standard polymeric formulas.2
