2025 CN Awards – Nominations

Nominating for the 2025 CN Awards is simple. You can nominate a colleague, group, charity, commercial product/service or yourself (depending on the category) by simply completing the online nomination form below.

Any supporting information can be emailed to: jodie@cm-2.co.uk – simply title the email with the name of the individual/group/charity/product/service you have nominated.

Plus by making a nomination* you have the option of being entered into a prize draw** for the chance to WIN a £250 voucher of your choice.

*Once a nomination has been shortlisted, the nomination cannot be retracted. If you wish to withdraw a nomination, then please email Complete Media & Marketing Ltd. via info@cm-2.co.uk by the nomination closing date: 31 March 2025. If your email is received, you will receive confirmation that your nomination has been withdrawn. Nominations cannot be withdrawn after the closing date has passed (31 March 2025).
**No purchase necessary. Prize draw is free to enter. The prize draw winner will be selected at random. The winner of the prize draw will be contacted directly via the email address they provided and will also be announced in the May 2025 issue of CN Magazine. The winner of the prize draw must claim their prize within a month of the prize draw closing date (by 30 April 2025). The prize draw closing date is 31 March 2025, 23:59 GMT (UK).

  • Your nomination length should be between 250-350 words.  If your nomination is shortlisted, the information you supply here will be published in CN Magazine.  You are welcome to provide supporting information, please email this to: jodie@cm-2.co.uk.

    Tips on submitting a nomination:

    Resources:

    • Include details on:
      • The type of resource, e.g. public body/charity/website/guidance
      • What the resource is used for/aim of resource
      • How you have utilised this resource in practice and it has helped you improve or change practice

    Individuals/groups/team:

    • Point out how this individual/group/team has gone above and beyond what is expected of them in their day-to-day role.  For example:
      • Committment to patients/patient safety/patient information/care
      • Implementing/developing new guidance/inititiatives/clinics
      • Leading on a project/supporting colleagues
      • Charity work
      • Promoting their profession and the services they provide in innovative ways
      • Professional achievements - personal or as a team

    Products:

    • Include the date the product was launched/reformulated
    • Include details on:
      • What conditions and the reasons your product was developed/reformulated
      • The benefits of the product
      • How the product is unique.

    NEW Sustainability Initiative Award:

    • This new Award is open to nominations from practicing healthcare professionals, the NHS or private healthcare providers, and educational and research institutions. Examples include, but are not limited to:
      • Digitalisation - e.g. Moving over to digitalised services; app development; reduce email traffic
      • Environmental - e.g. Working with catering departments to make sure service provider food is more locally sourced, or the development of more plant-based menus; and the reduction of motion waste
      • Talent retention & succession planning - e.g. Implementing staff development opportunities; and wellbeing programmes.
