Nirouz Zarroug RD, MRes, BSc (Hons), is a Clinical Specialist Dietitian at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital, with over 20 years of experience in acute care within the NHS. Nirouz’s dietetic experience covers many specialities, including Haematology-Oncology, Stem Cell Transplantation and Infectious Diseases. Nirouz has an active interest in the gut microbiome and believes that the gut microbiome may play a pivotal role in health outcomes within acute care.
