Complete Nutrition (CN) Magazine Welcomes New Editorial Team Member

Complete Nutrition (CN) Magazine* are delighted to welcome Specialist Gastroenterology Dietitian, Amy Gittins, to the CN Editorial Team.

The CN Editorial Team is made up of a range of experts**, covering a variety of fields from critical care and paediatrics to community dietetics and parenteral nutrition. The Team provides vital editorial support, helping to ensure the content in CN is correct and current.

Amy Gittins has been a regular contributor to CN Magazine for many years, covering areas such as inflammatory bowel disease, exclusive enteral nutrition in Crohn’s disease and small intestinal bacterial overgrowth. Amy has over 10 years of experience, primarily within the NHS, before she transitioned to full-time freelance practice. As the Director of Wholefoods1st Nutrition Consultancy, she provides expert dietetic support and education in gut health on a one-to-one and group basis.

Amy is an active member of the British Dietetic Association (BDA), contributing to the Gastroenterology Specialist Group and other subgroups. As a BDA facilitator, Amy delivers the BDA’s ‘Coeliac Disease: Further management and its complexities’, and co-delivers the ‘Management of IBS Using the Low FODMAP Diet’ course – helping to train and upskill dietitians across the UK. Additionally, she founded the Northwest Gastro Dietitians Group, a collaborative network that meets bi-monthly to share knowledge, deliver CPD sessions, and support fellow professionals.

Amy says: “Having written for CN Magazine for many years, I have always valued the opportunity to engage with evidence-based, CPD-driven content. I am honoured to join the Editorial Team and look forward to supporting the publication in delivering high-quality, informative articles for nutrition professionals.”
