New Softer Foods Dessert Launch

Wiltshire Farm Foods has once again demonstrated its commitment to variety and innovation in the texture modified space, with the launch of its Level 6 Soft & Bite-Sized Lemon Sponge.

Arriving just in time for Spring, the zesty lemon sauce – which contains natural ‘Sicilian’ lemon flavouring – is topped with light sponge pieces and will delight customers with swallowing difficulties who want to indulge in something sweet.

Service users can simply place an order via telephone or online with their local branch. A friendly delivery driver will even pop the meals directly into the freezer, should there be need for this additional service. They can then be reheated using either the oven or microwave.

Wiltshire Farm Foods’ Softer Foods range has been developed in line with the IDDSI framework, so you can rest assured that your service users will receive meals which are delicious and safe to eat. A Level 6 compliant food texture should include bite-sized pieces which must be no bigger than 1.5cm in size.

To ensure that food is the right texture to meet the requirements of Levels 4, 5 and 6 diets, watch this series of videos from Wiltshire Farm Foods: https://wiltshirefarmfoods.com/iddsi-food-tests
