At Fresenius Kabi, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact.
To deliver on this commitment, we have removed all straws from our Fresubin® EasyBottles before the legislation is introduced in April 2020.
From November 1st 2019 you will have started to see the removal of straws from the side of our EasyBottles, and the change will be fully implemented by January 1st, 2020.
We’ve already taken several other steps to limit plastic waste, such as reducing the amount of plastic needed to produce the EasyBottle.* Since 2011 we have reduced the amount of plastic used to make a 200ml EasyBottle by 4 grams.*
By prescribing a Fresubin EasyBag you are also reducing the volume of plastic waste; as the EasyBag saves 60% of plastic used in weight compared to alternative tube feed bottles on the market.**
We’re sure this comes as great news to many of you as you will no doubt already be taking steps yourself to reduce your plastic waste, and we at Fresenius Kabi are also committed to doing our part.
